Reflection Eleven: What Is Continuing Bonds Theory?

Continuing Bonds is the understanding that we don’t “move on”  we move forward with the person we lost.
The relationship changes form but doesn’t disappear. You might talk to them, dream of them, carry their traits forward, or feel their influence in important decisions.

Grief softens when we stop trying to sever a bond that still matters.

Reflection:
How do you continue your connection with your person now and what new forms might that bond take in the future?
