Take a deep breath. You’re in the right place.
Hi, I’m Larissa Childers, a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I’m so glad you’re here.
For over 5 years, I’ve had the honor of supporting people through some of life’s most tender and difficult seasons—whether they’re navigating anxiety, working through depression, moving through major life transitions, or grieving a deep loss. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
As a therapist, I bring both clinical skill and heartfelt presence. I see therapy as a sacred space—one where your emotions are safe, your story is honored, and your inner wisdom can rise to the surface.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be “fixed.” You just have to be willing to show up—and I’ll be right here beside you.
My Approach
I work from a relational, integrative lens—drawing from evidence-based practices while meeting you with warmth and respect. I tailor therapy to your needs, often weaving in elements from:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Mindfulness and somatic awareness
Narrative and person-centered approaches
Grief-informed and trauma-sensitive care
At the heart of it all is you—your pace, your values, your healing.
